American Pit Bull has short, single layered, and stiff but glossy coat. They are average shedder. The body is solidly built and muscular, with a wide chest. The head is wedge shaped with some slight forehead wrinkles. It needs minimal grooming. Remove dead and loose hairs periodically with a rubber brush.
