Siberian Husky also known as Artic Husky is a medium size dog with a compact, muscular body. This breed
originates from Siberia believed to be developed the Chukchi Indians. This dog has a medium size erect ears
and almond-shaped eyes. It is double coated with a medium-lenght, straight outer coat and a dense undercoat.
Siberian Husky is a strong working dog. It is suited in a cold climate and can withstand temperatures as low as 75 degrees below zero.
This dog has the endurance, stamina and strenght to haul heavy loads over long distances and rough terrain.
This breed is also lively, outgoing and friendly to almost everyone.
Patience, consistency and fairness is necessary when training this breed. It is intelligent dog but it has
a mind of its own. It is also difficult to housebreak, a crate training method is necessary.
Siberian Husky is an active dog. It likes to roam and run around so, a well fenced backyard is ideal for them.
It makes an excellent walking and jogging companions provided they are very securely leashed and the climate is not too hot.
